Magnes had the opportunity to participate in the AssiStart Startup Camp in India, an international program powered by Innosuisse and organized in collaboration with Swissnex in India and the AssisTech Foundation (ATF).

Our CEO, Dr. Olgaç Ergeneman, joined fellow founders, innovators, and ecosystem partners in Bangalore to present NUSHU, Magnes’ smart-shoe system that combines embedded sensors, AI algorithms, and real-time vibrotactile feedback to analyze and support gait in everyday life.

NUSHU measures more than 35 gait-related parameters in real time and can be used both in controlled lab environments and in daily living conditions. With over 50 million people in India living with mobility disorders, there is a significant need for accessible, data-driven solutions that can assist with rehabilitation, prevention, and long-term mobility support.

During the camp, Magnes:

  • Showcased NUSHU to clinicians, assistive technology experts, and potential partners

  • Explored opportunities for collaboration in the Indian healthcare and rehab ecosystem

  • Engaged in discussions on how wearable technologies can help redefine independence and quality of life for people with mobility challenges

We are grateful to Swissnex in India, ATF, and Innosuisse for the invitation and support, and we look forward to building on the connections and insights gained during this program.
